Yes I know that everyone else has had their pumpkin patch pictures up for weeks now, but isn't it a good sign that I am posting pictures from 2 weeks ago instead of 2 months? I am quite proud to be almost caught up :)
So the boys had a day off from school so we went to this cute little farm to pick our pumpkins. It was a fun place, not terribly exciting by most kids standards, but mine enjoyed it! My boys love educational anything, and they really liked to learn about how a farm works.
Jax and Araleigh really liked to collect the eggs from the chickens, and then they could hold them up in front of a light to see if they had a baby chick or not. They would then sort the chick-less eggs into the drawers, and start over. They spent a lot of time on this, and really had fun!
Traeden had fun teasing the chickens, if you got too close they would charge the fence. They were quite loud too, and Araleigh kept saying "shhhh, chickens, be quiet!"
I LOVE this picture!! After we bought our pumpkins, the kids were starving so they got some fresh apples to hold them over. They were ranting and raving about these apples as if they were the most decadent dessert they had ever had in their lives. "Mmmmm, this is sooooo good!!! Mom, you've GOT to taste this! This tastes like, like...I can't even describe it!!!" So next time I need to whip up a dessert for Family Night, I'm just gonna go buy some apples from the farm!
