Well we sure missed the big annual 4th of July party at the Toone Household, but we had a pretty great time out here at our own BBQ!
We had some friends from work and church come over for some hamburgers and hot dogs, then we migrated over to our friends' apartment for swimming, then back to our place for pizza and fireworks!
It turns out that we could have saved ourselves a bundle on fireworks, though, because the kids were really more interested in catching fireflies...oh, well....
Araleigh had a great time playing with her other baby friend, Megan! They are so incredibly cute together! They are exactly one month apart, so it's really cute to see them interact, and Megan teaches Araleigh all kinds of fun things! The tricky part was keeping her on the blanket, because apparently rocks, twigs and dead leaves are quite tasty...mmmmm....who knew?

Sounds like you had fun on the 4th! Isaac likes to eat all that fun stuff as well! Must be a baby taste thing!
I hear you're coming to Utah in a couple of weeks. I'm so excited. Let me know when and I'll come see you.
