Here goes...

Well after much heckling from Laura I finally took the time to set this thing up, I must say it was much easier than I expected! I will try to update and post things weekly, but no promises! So I guess I should talk about my favorite subject, my kids, eh? Well Traeden is still doing terrific things in school, he is a little smarty pants and keeps up with the second graders with no trouble. He is anxious to learn cursive so he can sign his name! He loves reading and only checks out the non-fiction books from the school library because he likes to learn about stuff. He's getting a little impatient with his teeth, though, because he hasn't lost any yet and he really wants a visit from the tooth fairy like his other friends! Jaxon continues to be the comic of the family, I can't believe what that kid comes up with! The other day he had a bunch of sores on his legs from a dermatologist procedure and was walking slow and carefully. I told him that he was walking like an old man. He said "I am not walking like an old man, I'm just walking fancy!" He is such a character, my life is sure going to be boring when he's in school all day! He is almost thinking about maybe trying to possibly ride his bike without the training wheels, but then he wimps out. He is still the biggest "Thomas Trains" fan ever, I don't think that he thinks about anything else. He's a big ball of energy, and we have a lot of fun with him! Araleigh remains a perfect little princess, she is still unbelievably easy and sweet and happy all the time. I don't know what I did to deserve her, but I'm glad I did it! She is still not moving, but she's starting to realize that moving is the thing to do, so I know it won't be much longer. For now, I am really enjoying the hours of her sitting in one place on the floor playing with her toys as content as can be! She is such a joy! She is beginning to like animals, she loves the ducks at our pond and gets really excited when they get close to her. We are planning a trip to the zoo next week which I'm sure will give me another blogging opportunity to share with everybody! As for Dave and I, we're good, looking forward to spending some time together this summer as we venture off to Michigan! I think it will be a fun place to be and we're just excited for some good weather and fun things to do! Well I will sign off for now, I hope ya'll aren't too bored of me babbling on and on, I will try to have something more exciting to post next time!

They are getting so big and I haven't even seen Araleigh yet. I am sure I will be her most favorite auntie, right? Let me know when you are coming out to Utah so you can meet our new little girl!
